In order to stop the market flooding with grey imports, Smart UK sold the LHD version in the UK before the RHD version was ready. You could order a pre-specified car, those available are shown here.
This 60 bhp model was priced just below £10000 and no coupe version was offered.

The standard fit wheels are steel with black centre caps.
NOTE: These cars did not have power steering and had no radio.
